MEng

Edward began his career with Webb Yates Engineers after graduating in 2023, and has quickly grown his experience working on a number of interesting projects, including large-scale structural repairs a multi-storey carpark for a major UK airport, and a vertical extension to an existing office building in London.

A detail-oriented and analytical engineer, he is particularly interested in utilising computational design and parametric modelling tools to optimise a building’s design. He is enthusiastic about designing with low embodied carbon materials and is committed to further developing his knowledge in structural timber and stone.

Edward gained his MEng in Civil and Structural Engineering from the University of Sheffield. During his studies, he completed an internship with a UK-based contractor, where gained valuable on-site experience whilst based on the site of a large infrastructure project.
